Welcome to the Arscott family website, I have been working on my partners family tree since 2005, since our son was born I have been using any spare time I have! To build a significant database of Arscott's around the world and I am gradually updating this site.
With such a wealth of history, in what is one of the oldest families on the Devon/Cornwall borders, I really got hooked. I would like to continue to build the Arscott tree, and in doing so help others & myself, with missing links, in their family history.
I am an enthusiastic/interested individual, with quite a bit of on hand experience, and I do my very best not to make mistakes/assumptions, Although I do my upmost, please do not hold me responsible for any errors it is up to you to double check the information I have found, I would appreciate it if you could advise me of any discrepancies so as not to mislead others in the future. This is an unpaid (but quite expensive) hobby to me - trying to help others in their Arscott family history search.
I would love to hear from anyone who may have more information/family bibles that will help me fill in some of the gaps in our tree, or if anyone would like to contribute any photographs or stories that would be great, and I will attribute you for the information you give.
